Creative Giant Leap! Ages 5-7

Join us this summer and experience everything Bull Run Mountain Art Camp has to offer -- great projects, great teachers, and the great outdoors!

Our camp for ages 5-7 is very much like our ages 7-10 camp, only tailored a bit for younger campers. It's a slightly shorter day, a bit faster pace, smaller class size, and the magical creative experience of working with kids your own age.

A typical day for 5-to-7-year-olds will feature 1 main project plus a variety of art experiences and sketchbook time. Our main project space is a shaded outdoor area, where campers are inspired by the sights and sounds of nature. Sketchbook time and smaller projects are in my studio shed, which is a few steps over the stream and through the woods behind our house.

Our projects are especially designed to be successful for everyone, even kids who think they "aren't good at art." Campers work at thier own pace and are free to get up from the table when they are finished. Every day is a new adventure and your camper will recieve tons of encouragement and individual attention.

Parents are welcome to stay for the duration of camp. We'll have a sitting area set up inside, so your child will know you're right nearby. Bull Run Mountain is also a beautiful place to go for a walk, and there is shopping such as a Giant grocery store about 6 miles away.

The highlight of Bull Run Mountain Art Camp is our Student Show. Save the date for Friday evening after camp! This is a special event you won't want to miss.

Camps are 2 hours per day and all supplies are included.

WEEK 1: June 10-14, 1–3pm, 2 SPOTS LEFT
WEEK 2: June 17-21, 9–11am, 2 SPOTS LEFT
WEEK 3: June 24-28, 1–3pm, 1 SPOT LEFT
All camps are Monday–Friday with the student show on Friday at 7pm.
