As your child continues to grow, creative experiences like art camp remain extremely important. Positive creative experiences boost a child's self-esteem in unique ways. Year after year, we see kids "find their tribe" as campers meet, share common interests, and make new things together.

A typical day for our 10-to-13-year-olds features 1 or 2 more challenging projects plus free drawing/sketchbook time. Weather permitting, our main project space is a shaded outdoor area, where campers are inspired by the sights and sounds of nature. Sketchbook time is in my studio, which is a few steps over the stream and through the woods behind our house.

Our projects are super fun and are carefully designed to build creative confidence for every camper! Each day is different, and your child will experience an astonishing variety of art-making methods and materials. We welcome returning campers year after year with new and exciting projects to inspire and ignite the imagination.

A hallmark of art camp is that your artist never feels restricted or confined. Campers work at their own pace and are free to move to sketchbook time when they are ready. Campers also enjoy visiting our chickens and making self-directed projects as they draw from our exensive collection of art supplies. We've been making art on the mountain since 2012 and our unique setting creates joy for our campers year after year.
